The SMYO Committee is made up of young people
in grades 10-12 from MC Sask churches.

They represent the youth from the seven clusters across the province that makes up SMYO. All committee members must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The SMYO committee gives youth ownership in area church youth ministry and provides opportunities for them to use and improve leadership skills. They are involved in planning, organising, providing leadership and fully participating in all provincial events.

SMYO brings together youth in MC Sask churches for the purpose of fellowship and spiritual growth. It fosters a feeling of identity and unity. It invites youth to faith in Jesus Christ and encourages them to follow him in all areas of their lives by offering retreats and other activities.
